A LOW EMISSIONS FUTURE: Opportunities for Australia

Published: October 15, 2021

Coalition for Conservation (C4C) is a registered Australian charity that engages with centre- right policymakers to build support for the action required to seize the opportunities of a clean energy economy. We understand true prosperity depends on preserving and growing our natural heritage. We know the market can provide solutions, spurring the production of new technologies and avoiding the need to use taxes. We believe sending signals to the market will generate investment and create new industries and jobs.

The purpose of this booklet is to answer some of the questions conservatives might have about the change occurring in our energy mix, and how it will benefit the economy and our regional communities. It also highlights how strong signals from the Government to the market will help boost industries, bringing prosperity and wealth to Australia, whilst protecting our natural resources.

Australia is at a crossroads. Right now, we have the opportunity to capitalise on our huge natural advantages and seize the economic opportunities.
