The Coalition for Conservation (C4C) is pleased to announce the appointment of Zoe Hilton as its new Media and Operations Director.

Zoe brings a background in energy policy, government and environmental research, and will lead C4C’s advocacy for affordable, reliable energy that protects Australia’s natural environment.

C4C Chair the Hon. Larry Anthony AO welcomed the appointment.
“Zoe’s appointment strengthens C4C’s ability to engage effectively in the national energy debate,” Mr Anthony said. “Her policy experience and communications expertise will be an asset as we advocate for practical, affordable energy solutions.”

Founder and former CEO Cristina Talacko also welcomed the appointment.
“Zoe brings valuable experience in energy policy and a strong commitment to protecting Australia’s natural environment,” Ms Talacko said. “I am pleased to see C4C in such capable hands and I know she will continue to be a passionate advocate for a better energy system.”

Ms Hilton said she was delighted to join the Coalition for Conservation at a critical time in Australia’s energy debate.
“Australians deserve an energy system that delivers affordable and reliable power while protecting the natural environment,” Ms Hilton said. “The current energy transition is not working for everyday Australians. Power bills keep rising, small businesses are under strain and critical industries are moving offshore. On top of that, the renewables rollout is coming at an unacceptable cost to our pristine rainforests, prime agricultural land and endangered species.
“We need to put practical outcomes above ideology so that we can unlock more of Australia’s abundant energy resources, lower energy costs and protect our local environment.”
