Through strategic collaborations with international think tanks, NGOs and energy institutes, we helped lead the charge in promoting advanced nuclear energy. This project focused on fostering energy innovation tailored to the industrial and commercial sectors' needs. Advanced nuclear energy offers a clean, reliable, and enduring power source, which can maintain energy security while reducing carbon emissions. The small spatial footprint of nuclear reactors and their ability to be built on existing industrial sites are key features of nuclear energy which can help preserve Australia's unique natural landscapes and wildlife, as well as our prime agricultural land.
